Shipping policy

Freight delivery to your curb in the 48 contiguous states. Inspect before you sign.

Where we ship

We ship to physical addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses or international destinations.

How orders ship

  • Complete systems, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, packaged units and multi-zone mini splits ship by LTL freight on a pallet. Delivery is curbside with a liftgate. The driver lowers the pallet to the ground at the nearest safe point to your driveway or curb; the driver does not carry equipment inside, up stairs or into a garage.
  • Single-zone mini splits, thermostats, line sets and other parts ship by ground parcel (UPS or FedEx) when their size allows.

Shipping cost

Freight is quoted to your delivery zip code and shown as its own line on your written quote before you pay. Residential delivery, liftgate service and delivery appointment are included in that line unless the quote says otherwise. Limited-access locations (gated communities that refuse trucks, islands, job sites without truck access, military bases) may cost more; tell us up front so the quote is accurate.

Timing

  • Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment clears. Equipment ships from the warehouse closest to you that has it in stock, which is not always Pensacola.
  • Freight transit is typically 3 to 7 business days inside the contiguous states. Parcel shipments usually arrive in 2 to 5 business days.
  • You receive the carrier's tracking number by email once the order ships. Freight carriers call to schedule a delivery window; a person 18 or older must be present to inspect and sign.
  • Backordered items are flagged on your quote with an expected date. We do not charge for backordered equipment until it is ready to ship.

Inspect before you sign

This is the most important part of this policy. Freight carriers hold us, and you, to what is written on the delivery receipt.

  1. Count the cartons against the packing list.
  2. Look at every carton for crushed corners, punctures, tears, tilt indicators or a wet box. Open cartons with any exterior damage and check the unit inside while the driver waits. You are allowed to do this.
  3. Write any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. "Subject to inspection" is not enough; describe what you see.
  4. Photograph the damage and the delivery receipt.
  5. If a unit is clearly destroyed, refuse that piece and accept the rest. Note the refusal on the receipt.
  6. Email [email protected] with the photos within 48 hours of delivery.

Damage noted on the delivery receipt is replaced or credited at no cost to you. Damage discovered after a clean signature is filed as a concealed-damage claim, which carriers routinely deny, so we cannot guarantee the outcome. Please open the cartons while the driver is there.

Address changes and missed deliveries

Email us before the order ships to change the address at no charge. Once a freight shipment is moving, carriers charge a reconsignment fee for a new address, and a redelivery fee if nobody is present for a scheduled appointment; those fees are passed through at cost.

Title and risk of loss

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the shipment to your address, subject to the damage procedure above.
